🎯 My Vision for Dagoretti South

Why I'm Running

The people of Dagoretti South deserve representation that truly listens, legislation that reflects their needs, and oversight that protects their resources. Our community needs a voice in Parliament that understands the struggles of ordinary families and the opportunities of a changing world.

📖 My Journey

From Daggo to Global Impact

My journey has only deepened my belief that politics should be about service.

Before 2010
Growing up in Daggo
I grew up in Ng’ando, Waithaka & Riruta. I’ve walked the rough roads, seen families stretch every shilling, and suffered the open sewers. I know firsthand the cost of failed leadership.
2011+
Learning Beyond Daggo
High school and university took me beyond Dagoretti South, exposing me to new ideas and opportunities. But the more I saw the world, the clearer it became; the potential of Daggo is no less than anywhere else.
2020
Solving Problems with Tech
During COVID, I saw how technology could ease everyday struggles especially for small businesses. I built Hudumashop, a marketplace for such businesses. It showed me that real progress happens when innovation is made accessible to the people who need it most.
2022
Giving Back to Community
Without an ID, you can’t vote, access education, healthcare, or even basic services. That’s why I started an ID recovery initiative (RELOID) to help our youth reclaim their voice and their future. What began with IDs has since expanded to recovering all critical documents.
June 2024
A Friend Lost, A Purpose Found
During the 2024 demonstrations, a close friend was abducted and later found dead. More than 60 youths were killed. These deaths were a wake-up call that our generation's voices were being silenced by a system that fears change.
"I will not beg for change anymore. I will not beg for justice. I will step into the arena and demand for it from within." - Samuel Kagwe
Late 2024
Youth Digital Skills Initiative
I saw that many youths lacked access to the digital skills needed in today’s economy. That’s why I helped create a Youth Digital Skills Initiative, opening doors to training and opportunities that prepare them for jobs, business, and a future where they can thrive.
2025
The Decision
After attempting to push for change from the outside, and after losing someone who believed deeply in a better future, I came to a hard truth: lasting change must also be fought from within the system. That is why I chose to run for MP. Not to join politics for its sake, but to remain a problem-solver with a bigger platform, and to protect and amplify the voices that truly matter.

✊ My Commitments

What You Can Hold Me To

These aren't campaign promises. These are commitments I'm making to you, with clear timelines and measurable outcomes.

01
First 100 Days
Launch a digital portal where every constituent can track government projects, access services online, and communicate directly with my office. No more wondering what's happening with your tax money.
02
First 6 Months
Establish the Dagoretti South Innovation Hub - a physical space where young people can access high-speed internet, training programs, and mentorship for free. Tech skills shouldn't be a luxury.
03
First Year
Launch the constituency's first venture capital fund, connecting local entrepreneurs with investors. We'll create a pipeline from ideas to funded businesses to job creation.
04
Every Month
Host public forums where constituents can directly question me about my performance, suggest projects, and hold me accountable. Democracy works best when it's a conversation, not a monologue.
05
Every Quarter
Publish detailed reports on how every shilling of public money was spent, what projects achieved their goals, and what didn't work. Transparency isn't optional.
06
Every Year
Submit to an independent evaluation of my performance by the community. If I'm not delivering value, you should know about it and I should be accountable for it.

Join the Movement

This isn't about me becoming an MP. This is about us building a constituency that works for everyone. A place where technology serves community, where youth lead change, and where every voice matters. For my friend who can no longer speak, and for all those whose voices deserve to be heard. #Sirinisisi
